Good morning Col Burroughs. Today is the last day of my deployment. And what we've found is that reliability is one of the keys. If you agree to do it; keep your word. Don't be a "no show" or late to the party. People are depending on you. Reliability breeds trust; inconsistency breaks faith whether it is personal or business.

Coming from an environment where plus or minus 30 seconds was unsatisfactory I can certainly agree with that.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - Thanks Charlie for the awesome quotes today and the one key thing you said really stick with me and that is "Reliability breeds trust." Let me leave you with my final thought on the topic and have a great last day of deployment Charlie:

"Reliability is a very important quality for any person and leader. Always be there for those who depend on you and those you provide support for. Have the right attitude to always be prepared and ready to answer the call; may you keep yourself healthy; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy. Reliability is a strength that can't be broken - it endures and will help you accomplish anything you set your mind to. Have a great "Thursday!" — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

I expect that your immediate family members, friends, and others you interact with consider you to be reliable family member, friend, coworker, or acquaintance respectfully. Hopefully, you and I are increasingly placing our trust in the LORD and relying on the most reliable BEING in existence who declared HIMSELF to be I AM Who I AM. 'Then Moses said to God, “If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ what shall I say to them?” God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” [Exodus 3:13 ESV], my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.

Many of us are suffering at this season of life – sometimes patiently and other times ‘are we there yet’ comes to mind in impatience. Hopefully, we each are sensitive to the Holy Spirit as HE brings to mind applicable scriptures with an understanding of the specific application for us and those we love. Most of us have served in the military and understand the concept of being a good soldier sharing in the suffering. 'You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also. Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to please the one who enlisted him.' [2 Timothy 1-4 ESV]
I pray that each of us are blessed by the LORD with eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart sensitive to the Holy Spirit and discernment to be able to understand the written Word of God stored in our soul. The Word of God is always reliable. I pray that no one of us is deceived by those who twist scripture for their own deceptive purposes such as the misnamed and unreliable Word of faith televangelists. In Scripture angel may be a spiritual being or more often an earthbound messenger such as a pastor/teacher. 'Therefore, we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it. For since the message declared by angels proved to be reliable,' [Hebrews 2_1-3a ESV]
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Good “Thursday” Morning “Burroughs’ Posse Leader,” from a very foggy morning here in the SW Greater Boston Area where the current temperature is 63° with 90% humidity and wind SW 3 mph...
My challenged sister Beverly's 76th birthday is today... There will be a small party at her group home at noon if the weather holds up, so my wife and I are planning to head there, weather permitting. It is outdoors, so if it rains, all bets are off. Guests cannot enter their home due to Covid-19 as the ladies there all have some medical issues, which make them vulnerable to the virus.

Today is one of my IT workday's so I have a balancing act to do to get everything done... I may have to work tomorrow for some time just to get my time in and finish what I could not do today... Therefore my time on RP will be sorely limited... “Reliability Day!” Why Not? I guess one could say that I am trying to be as "Reliable" as I can possibly be...

1) "A man who lacks reliability is utterly useless." - Confucius

2) "Trusting is hard. Knowing who to trust, even harder." - Maria V. Snyder

3) "Our confidence...is not in the competence of our own knowing, but in the faithfulness and reliability of the one who is known." - Lesslie Newbigin

4) "No memoirists writes for long without experiencing an unsettling disbelief about the reliability of memory, a hunch that memory is not, after all, just memory." - Patricia Hampl

5) "God is waiting to be put to the test by His people in prayer. He delights in being put to the test on His promises. It is His highest pleasure to answer prayer, to prove the reliability of His promises." - Edward McKendree Bounds

And when it comes to leadership...

“Give me a leader that is 100% reliable and I’ll show you a leader that gets missions accomplished and takes care of their people!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Sgt (Join to see) - Get it done and be that reliable person today and tomorrow Kerry - I know you will brother. Thanks for all the great quotes my friend and enjoy your day, even if it's work (lol). Keep this in mind Kerry - just my perspective on reliability:
