Dr. Scott Atlas, who served briefly as a pandemic adviser to President Trump, contended Friday there is no reason for people under 30 who have almost no risk of serious illness or death from COVID-19 to be vaccinated.

Science will always be measured by the scientific method. Most people are following the science, the science of politics. Your tribe, my tribe and the remaining who weigh both sides of the science and make our own choices.

There's been a terrible politicization of the problems, and no one is behaving in an objectively scientific way. As a result, there is no universally respected or trusted set of scientific authorities. I've taken all the vaccinations offered, but what works for me might not be needed by young folks who had a mild case of COVID 19 and now have natural immunity.
