When she was the commander of Army North, her organization was probably the most forward thinking in regard to pandemic planning. She was the belly button for military responses.

Not many know this. The mission of Army North is to protect Canada and the US. Their other mission is to support national disaster planning and mitigation. They will go through the channels to get people, funding, vehicles, planes, and equipment to support that mission.
I am waiting for an ignorant Trump supporter to call that fake news. For example, I talked about the National Response Framework as the bible to National Disaster Planning. This poster who does not know the difference of a hole in the ground and his asshole said that was fake news. When they want to try to win a debate, they often say fake news. Idiots.
