SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL Dishonorable discharges would cost too much and there would be too much paperwork. A dishonorable discharge has to be awarded by a General Courts Martial. Very time consuming and expensive. My guess is many will use this as a way to get out of their contracts.

SGT (Join to see) The discharge should be based on their character of service up to this point even if it is Under other than Honorable conditions. Why the hell did they change it? It used to be a more appropriate term, Undesirable Discharge. I remember in boot camp every squad bay had all five discharges posted.

I have no issue with this policy. It's not dishonorable for someone to refuse the vaccine. Many people have their reasons, and I'm not one to judge. If they refuse, process them out as an H or GUH discharge.
