Ronnie Spector, of the Ronettes passed away from a long fought battle with cancer... For those of you old enough to remember, she was the lead singer of the Ronettes and one of her great songs was "Be My Baby" from 1963! At that time I was ordered to the Air Defense Command to support and maintain Airborne Navigation equipment on RC 121Radar Planes protecting our Eastern seaboard, based at Otis Air Force Base in Massachusetts... I remember this song like it was yesterday... May Ronnie Spector Rest in Peace...

As a teenager living in Daytona Beach I heard this song on the radio
and really liked it and the Ronnettes. They were a great group.
If you get the chance listen to "THE BEST PART OF BREAKIN' UP".
Ronnie was great on that song. Rest In Peace.
