The Republican Party is today considering a motion to censure Trump critics Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger over their criticisms of former president Donald Trump and their membership of the committee investigating the 6 January attack on the US Capitol.
The two representatives are accused of “behavior which has been destructive to the institution of the US House of Representatives, the Republican Party and our republic”. Both have vehemently rejected the accusation and insisted they will not be intimidated by the motion whether it passes or not.

Never have liked Liz Cheney's policies but have to admire her for standing up against what we all saw with our own eyes. It troubles me that the GOP has fallen so far in my lifetime that this matter is even up for discussion.
