The number of migrants illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexico border is lower than it's been since the first weeks of 2021 — and the Biden administration says its sharp limits on asylum at the border are a big reason why.
Now the administration's border policies are being challenged in court by immigrant advocates and immigration hardliners alike, with a crucial hearing about the new asylum rules set for today in California.
Under those rules, which took effect in May, there is one main legal pathway to seek asylum for migrants who are already at the border: through a mobile app called CBP One. But for migrants who cross the border illegally after passing through Mexico or another country, it's much harder to get asylum.

It's funny how you'll have crocodile tears from Sun Democrats who believe in open borders and that America is racist especially when the Texas National Guard in Texas Rangers put a barrier because this is a sure way of preventing drownings and channeling migrants to other areas or make them change their minds completely.

Gone are the days of each country having a lottery and having a quota of each country and they had the opportunity to come to the usa. My mother came legally to the United States from Honduras back in 1959. She applied at the American embassy in Tegucigalpa. She did not cross the border illegally.

Not sure why from the Fox News side but it's talked about all the time. 400 infantry divisions or 6 million people Plus. About once a week I'll hear someone who was once part of the Border Protection and enforcement talk about how President Biden and his homeland security Chief have basically made all federal agents as travel agents and you hear Democrats complaining about the governor of Texas putting buoys on the real grand to mitigate drowning and to stop people from Crossing but the left only focuses on the so-called racism.
