With all the talk of this Omicron variant that hit the first lady, why would the US government go back to draconian lockdowns?
I know, it's election season so you have to scare the people to vote Democrat!.
I wonder how many special operators were also lost in the US active and Reserve components because they didn't want to get the vaccine?
I retired in December of 2021 so I wasn't forced out of the Army Reserve.
I am almost 61 years old and I got covid last year and it wasn't bad probably because it was a Delta variant and because I don't have any comorbidity issues and I stay in excellent physical shape.
My 47-year-old wife had an aneurysm 8 years ago and she didn't want to get the vaccine either. She got her aneurysm when she was 39. She got covid twice and we both got that at the same time the first time and the second time she got it, I didn't even get sick.
I wonder how many service members are not able to get back in because they still refuse to get the vaccination?
Let us not forget that the Canadians did the right thing by paralyzing the Canadian Capital with 3 weeks of truck driver protests because the US and Canadian governments both imposed 15-day quarantine on those drivers entering into each other's country bringing Logistics supplies in their big rigs. They were unfairly targeted and I'm glad that President Biden back down when the trucker protest was coming to Washington DC. 90% of the truckers were vaccinated but they weren't support the 10% of the truckers who couldn't or wouldn't get vaccinated.
The Canadians had their big protests 18 months ago in early 2022.

February 6, 2022 Anti Vax Trucker Protest in Ottawa
Trucker anti-vax protest in Ottawa, Canada.
For 3 weeks, the Canadian Capital was paralyzed by a coordinated protest done by former Royal Canadian Mounted Police and former government officials that worked with the truckers to do a complete protest and gridlock lockdown of the Canadian capital. Just like with our American president, prime minister Trudeau lied and said they were swastikas and Confederate flags flying. These truckers all signed a code of conduct sheet. You may see a flag that says foxtrot prime minister Trudeau and you will also see the flag of Quebec which is the separatist province that wants to break away from Canada but they were there with the blue and white flag to be United with their English speaking fellow countrymen in their United protest to the vaccine mandate. The Canadian government overreacted and seized the bank accounts of some of the protest leadership as a means to break up the protest as well as tow out their trucks.
This protest caused President Biden and his administration to Blink and they dropped the stupid 15-day quarantine for truckers.

It's really strange when the US Navy has to do stupid drag queen petty officer drag queen impersonation commercials that they think would help retention when it actually destroyed their attention and destroyed their recruiting. Also the US Army did some lesbian Soldier cartoon to try to Virtue signal to the lgbtq crowd. Why can't they just be like the Canadians and show things that involve duty, honor, country and bravery instead of virtue signal to the one half of 1% transgender people? It's really strange how the Democrats just won a virtue signal on lgbtq, transgender, critical race Theory and insult anybody who makes money from a corporation because it does come from the top down the middle out and bottom up doesn't count if you don't have money coming from the top down. I guess a Democrats don't know about business and don't know about dividends and stock prices going up? Because it's Canada and they don't have the Bill of Rights, I was going to give them a bit of a pass. But no, I won't. You don't give up your Constitutional Rights simply by going into a profession, even the profession of arms.

LTC Trent Klug I had a choice to fight the anthrax shots. I think I was a noble legal three when the first of the two Anthrax shots were given and I think I was given the remainder after I came back from Iraq in 2005.

LTC Trent Klug I went along and have so many injections for stuff that would be considered racist today by the extreme leftist pussies because I had the shot of Japanese encephalitis. Nobody complain I didn't see people protesting in front of the Pentagon about Japanese Encephalitis shots for Army Reserve people who may deploy to the Korean peninsula. But you can't call it the Chinese Coronavirus even though they used to call another virus to Hong Kong flu. I know I'm just messing with you but I like messing with the left who don't understand that my shot record says Japanese Encephalitis booster shot. What are my buddies who retired says that the anthrax shot causes joint pain. I haven't experienced that. But he also broke both ankles on a bad landing so maybe those plates and screws are hurting him years later. I'm sure you remember through your basic training in the Marine Corps and my days of training at Fort mcclellan, alabama, I got so many shots given to me I lost count. And I think the training areas were exposed to chemical weapon low dosage, people who were at Fort McClellan may have issues and collect settlements from the veterans administration. I was only there my basic training and AIT one station unit training and then a year and a half later going through military police officer basic. We did have a field portion of our officer basic course and we didn't camp out and I was driving Humvees all over the place. That's why I could never stop them spending $110 grand for a Hummer one no matter how luxurious they bake it because I got to drive it for free and it's a gutless vehicle. Sure, some of the newer ones are bigger engine and maybe even have Turbo but the vehicle to me was not a status symbol. It was strictly just for utility. Anyways, no side effects from the shots that I can tell. Both my kids were born normally without deformities. I'm turning 61 next month and though I look old, I don't feel old. I can still run 2 miles without any issues and not be bedridden afterwards. For the hell of it I busted out push-ups a couple weeks ago and it was pretty easy to get to the 56 push-ups to Max the 53 to 57 age bracket. If I worked on my sit-ups, I could probably Max the sit ups in 2 weeks time. I don't mean to brag, but I'm grateful that I'm not falling apart like others around me have.
