Big 3 autoworkers vote 'yes' to historic UAW contracts

Unionized autoworkers at General Motors, Ford and Stellantis (formerly known as Chrysler) have voted to ratify new contracts, finalizing wage gains of at least 25% over the next four years, according to the UAW's vote counts.
The contracts reflect the biggest victory for the union in decades. At GM, about 55% of votes were in favor of it. But a sizeable minority of workers were frustrated that the union didn't win back more of the benefits and perks that previous generations of autoworkers enjoyed.
At Stellantis, there was more support for the deal, with 70% voting yes as of Friday afternoon.

The Union contract makes no guarantee that people will buy cars from GM and Ford. Because now they have priced themselves out. Since many Union locations have wages way higher than Tesla.

The future does not look bright, especially if we have a recession coming around the corner. The Fed raising interest rates is trying to kill the economy because it was overheated by 9 trillion dollars in spending.

Yeah, they are pricing themselves right out of jobs. When my truck engine goes, and it's got 210k on it, I'm replacing the engine. I'm not buying new or a 'new to me' truck. Replacing the engine will be cheaper.

My stocks for GM and Ford are down. -36% for Ford, -51% for GM. President biden and his Bidenomics shows a bleak future for the auto makers and for the auto workers.
