Im thinkin MSgt your probably right on that since I worked on the border for more than 20 years as a peace officer. But I'll give you a little more to ponder...

Since 1898, The USA and Mexico haven't been on exactly mutual terms. We send them business(s) like Ford who set up shop, sure.. we let them hand carry millions of U.S. dollars in little white envelops with addresses like...Colonia Victoria, Josephine Vargas, or Alfredo Rodriguez, Domicile Grande, Chihuahua... and we let them cross even when we find these cash envelops in those small vans pulling a trailer with 15 people crammed in the seating area out of California. Happens 4-5 times a week, every week, year round.

Why 1898? After our little war in Cuba and the Pi. We only gave weapons to a terrorist named Villa through Cuba in like 1910-1915. Most were Winchester model 1895's in 30-40 Krag with US military markings on them, but when Villa went a tad to the left, and our Gooberment went to the right with Carranza and we screwed the pooch for Villa.

But since then. Tell me, what military logistical support has Mexico provided to the USA? Nothing. Not WW1, Not WW2, Nor Korea, not Vietnam Laos or Cambodia, not Grenada, not Panama, not Gulf 1 or 2, Not on 9-11, Not in Iraq, Not in Afghanistan, Not during the War on Terror, Not in Serbia or Kosovo, and Not with the Ukraine.

I recon it'd be a whole lot different if some of those Mexican built attack adobe submarines sunk alongside ours in WW2... It'd been a whole lot different if Mexican Marines, soldiers sailors and airmen served with and alongside in trenches with American troops in Vietnam or any other military conflict since 1898.... but they haven't. Not a scratch. Not one MIA... Not one WIA or KIA... not one.

That's the lesson that needs to be started to be talking about.

Instead, we sit back and get reports on Mexico hosting Russian military officials on 16 September, 2023, while watching thousands of illicit immigrant cross our southern border.

Good thing we are not at war with Mexico though... It'd shut off the Tequila, Corona and Dos XX's supply for all the BX's and we'd never get to see the inside of one of those high tech adobe mud submarines.
