I hope they aren't Chinse busses. They tend to catch fire and burn to the chassis.

I agree. Considering the weight of a bus, the number of Lithium ion cells needed would be a real explosion or fire hazard in an accident. There is a new type of so called 'Solid State' batteries, but they aren't in full production yet.
