PO3 Bob McCord What would surprise many, is I got seasick every time we got underway with rough seas. Nothing better than the comfort of a depth of 700’ or so.

PO3 Bob McCord, I just thought I’d let you know that Ken Kraetzer is a respected RallyPoint contributor. His métier is radio broadcasting, specifically as it relates to sporting events at the USMA and other service academies.
It’s very likely your observation is correct. I certainly don’t have a clue!

PO3 Bob McCord Unless things have changed, surface to the 100 fathom curve. Funny thing was, really bad weather didn’t bother me. The most dangerous evolution on a boat was when surfacing and submerging. Due to that, we stayed on surface in bad weather on the old diesel boats. Nuc boats can ride out storms submerged for long periods.

LTC Stephen C. hi, yes we follow the Navy closely, and anually attend NYC Fleet Week. Have actuslly been aboard USS Wasp for an embarkation, great cspability. Key question is why the newer USS America has not started deployments with F35s which was designed for.

I am upset beyond description that our "allies" are giving rights to islands and ports to the Chinese. The increased Chinese footprint will make it tougher to defend countries and the seas.
