Afghanistan wants the US to send the A-10 back to fight the Taliban

While the United States Air Force and the United States Marine Corps try to fix their problems in the modern day version of the Edsel ,Afghanistan requests help from the US Air Force with the tried and tested warthog to suppress Taliban expansion. Don't you think the Navy should seriously think of putting A-10 Warthogs on their aircraft carriers? I know the airframe of the A-10 can be retrofitted to aircraft carrier standards. The problem is too many people hate the airplane and they're jealous of it too and they think the F-35 can be everything for everyone. Just think ,in the future ,if we send in the F-35 instead it may be shot down and the pilot may be killed.
