One of these was on display at Aberdeen Proving Grounds , Maryland. I'm not sure if it went to Ft Lee, Virginia when the Ordnance school moved there. In 1978 I worked with a SFC in Germany, he had been a crewman on one of these beasts .

At one time we had nuclear projectiles for both the 155mm and 203mm howitzers.

I worked on nuke 8” projectiles (203mm). I can’t imagine working on a 280mm.
