That was a brave man. This video shows the result of 0 firearms training. The bystander secured the gun, then didn't know how to use it. The number of ways to chamber a round in commercial firearms is limited, and it's not rocket science. Another with some experience came over to help, but apparently got shot in the process. I can understand letting the shooter retreat to the bridge, he had over watch with no obstacles. It hasn't been very long ago that the Australian Government took guns away from their people. This is a direct result of that action.

LTC Trent Klug - I won't deni that but there are many officers that just stopped doing their job because of all the hate and violence to Tham. In may day the people were proud of the Police they paid to keep them safe. Now there is just too many people many living on the streets that hate all police for no reason. I have one living next door to me,

Ridiculous! This is the direct result of one shooter, responsible for his own actions. And Australia banned assault weapons (only) - not all guns, 1996 - so, 29 YEARS AGO. This is one mass casualty incident this year. The United States on the other hand has had 398 SO FAR in 2025.
And yes, that was a brave man.

SPC Joseph Kopac - Yes and it will continue untill police are backed up by the people and their goverment and. allowed to protect them selves and others. It make sme sick to see Ice and police today not defending them selves. I my day if someone had a fire bomb or big rock snd was about to throw it at me they would be dead. Today they run away besause to react differently is to be charged with a crime and locked up. I told everyone I trained if they had pull their gun it was only to protect themselves or the public. And if they shoot- shoot - shoot to kill. Eliminate the thread so inacent people are not injured or killed. Because if an Offiver is down, they can't help anyone else and his gun is use to kill him in most incidents
