Thank you TSgt Joe C. for this wonderful Post about Eastham, MA!!! Eastham is an absolutely beautiful part of Cape Cod, Massachusetts... Bordered on the North by Wellfleet and on the South by Orleans, it includes the Massachusetts famous Coast Guard Beach!!! The Beach is absolutely pristine and gorgeous, with light soft fine grains sand and salt, wispy sea grass and bluffs, and pure Atlantic Ocean swimming... All surrounded by bike trails, high overlook bluffs, and the Coast Guard Station. The tides in Wellfleet on the Bay side are absolutely amazing with depths for zero at low tide to some 20 feet at high tide... pretty much the same in Orleans, where the marina is located way above the low tide point in a natural pool of sorts... Tall thin branchless trees some 20 plus feet in height are in position to guide the boats into the docking area at High tide and pretty much within an hour or two of high tide... Before or after that, one is pretty much shut off from the marina... So if you are boating, pay attention to the high tides of Wellfleet and Orleans... I personally love this area and there are plenty of Cape Cod style hotels and motels around the area during the Summer season...
Great Post Joe!!!
