I only knew about tornados, never knew about high waters. This could have ended differently, but I'm glad all those people stopped to save those kids. I've been in a few situations of car accidents where I had to make a choice on the percentage of life. Those with less of a chance had less hope of help. Mostly because passer buyers only looked and kept driving. I think if people stopped living in fear of the unknown we wouldn't be so different. But that's only hopeful thinking.

SFC (Join to see), LTC (Join to see), when I was growing up in Arizona it was expected of passersby to help people in trouble.

Capt Seid Waddell - I grew up in the country, and that was the way things were. I have found that country folk around the world are helpful to others.
