The Devil Comes Back to Georgia written by Vassar Clements originally who wrote the basic melody an octave lower. Then Charlie Daniels, Tom Crain "Taz" DiGregorio, Fred Edwards, Charles Hayward, and James W Marshall wrote the current version.
