My son has been using Mobil 1 synthetic oil but is now using "Liberal Tears" on many of his weapons. I was "brought up" using CLP type lubricants but the MAIN THING is DON'T run these weapons DRY‼ That is probably the most common "sin" among even experienced shooters.

Roger that. I have a friend who is a lubricant freak. He is always looking for the "latest and greatest". Lucky for me he always gives me a small bottle to dry. I use them all

SSG William Jones Wet is definitely better. Especially on 1911 style pistols if you want them to stay tight.
