OK, I really gotta give it to you on that one, a really superb catch...super major bravo and kudos...I'd seen many times the famous film with John Hurt and Anthony Hopkins obviously got his first name wrong, giving it as "John", which I'd also gathered happened a good deal while he was still alive, I could never quite understand the reason for the constant confusion, I just noted it happened constantly, obviously...for real, superb catch....

No problemo...I've watched the flick God only knows how many times, pored over numerous websites and videos on the whole thing, ever since I'd seen it originally...for what perspective it did give, it was certainly a masterpiece, in my view, from the standpoint of historical accuracy in a flick, to no small extent, I mean, there were clearly some defects, minor ones, I suppose, that one could nitpick over, though those clearly seem inconsequential, at least to my mind...what really got me about the piece here was the whole part about the soft-tissue being there in the grave only, since the skeleton had evidently been preserved, though I didn't realize the soft-tissue had been preserved to be placed in that cemetery, certainly...that was the only thing that struck me as being somewhat more than overtly ghoulish, perhaps, as I think about the whole article...though, of course, it was over 150 yrs ago now, so I suppose one can't quite extemporaneously moralize on the behaviors of that period, certainly...still, doing it that way was obviously somewhat weird, certainly, I'd suppose, even for back then, perhaps, I'd wonder if anyone ever reflected on the whole thing in that light at the time, you know?

I've also looked up the actual text by Sir Frederick Treves, and that other one mentioned in the credits, as well, I'm pretty sure I found them as downloadable freebies online, if i get a chance, I'll try to send them....
