I am trying to imagine any of the current crop of "singers" being drafted,and serve their Country honorably,still trying.......

Thanks for reminding us SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that Rock 'n' roll legend Elvis Presley was drafted and sworn into the United States Army at Memphis, Tenn., on March 24, 1958. He served as a regular soldier, assigned to the 3rd Armor Division in Friedberg, Germany until March 2, 1960.
