Thank you my friend Maj Robert Thornton for posting the link to airforcemag.com that the U.S. House Armed Services Committee has significant concern about the F-35.
Suggesting cutback in the proposed procurement is interesting. I would hope savings would be reallocated with the DoD budget -
That might be an unfulfilled wish :-(

An interesting article. I too am concerned about the plane. I do believe there are some critical components, second tier down, that could be problematic. I am also concerned about EVERY mission platform in the US military arsenal. From planes to drones, from tanks to trucks, from radios to night vision all could contain problematic components. And most could very well gave been made in China.
