Thousands of chemicals used in food packaging and food production are leaching into food itself.

I've always found it ironic that things like vegetables are packaged because those with germ phobias are fearful. Then we get reports like this that infer that the packaging is more harmful than what it supposedly protects people from. What's so hard about washing unpackaged vegetables before consuming them?
