A true American Hero. My wife's Dad was in the 82nd at Normandy, Market Garden and the Battle of the Bulge. He carried shrapnel in his back fro the Battle of the Bulge until the day he died. The 101st and 82nd Troopers sacrificed so all of us could remain free. This country owes them all a debt of gratitude that can never be fully repaid.

That is a fact which may never be exceeded by any battle again. It couldn't possibly be.

I remember hearing about it a while ago. But couldn't remember the exact date, it was just stated above. :)
