Suicide by train. My wife said it happen with one of her trains when she was a Conductor with Burlington Northern. She said the guy nonchalantly waived at them just before her train hit him. It was about the time she and SPC Randy Zimmerman were both working out of the same BN shop in Sterling, CO.

GySgt Thomas Vick - Julia was on a train that hit a loaded dump truck. She said she couldn't feel a thing. The truck was torn asunder. So A human would leave very little. Depending on how squarely that young Marine was hit, it could have even been hard for the coroner to tell which parts went where.

SPC Randy Zimmerman - Julia's favorite incident involved friends of hers on a run out of Sterling, CO, heading up to Nebraska. She was not on that run at the time. She thinks it was around Dalton, NE. A tanker truck was hung up on a crossing and there was no way to stop before impact. So the crew shut the windows, hunkered down, made peace with their maker and waited for the explosion. They thought they were all dead because the engine would have been engulfed in gasoline and flames. If they didn't die from the explosion or flames they would die from the lack of oxygen. Then came the impact at about 45 MPH. It was a truck hauling milk. Maybe they could rinse their shorts out in all that milk. Chocolate milk, anyone?
