Again, I have something to say. Conservation of both Energy and Matter is sacrosanct. So thoughts are energy. The process to make them is elecro-chemical, which is amazing in its own right- a few molecules connect and we decide we like red wallpaper better? Stunning.

But to get back to the point (I am autistic, so forgive me - this is the way my mind is wired) so thoughts - once brought into existence, must linger. A book that was pooh-poohed when it came out by biologist around the world. (The author was a Jesuit Monk, who not only did good Science but he was a member of the team that discovered "Peking Man" while he was in China. A polymath to be sure. That book is called: The Jesuit and the Skull.

The one I am talking about is called: "The Phenomenon of Man." In it he describes the process of evolution leading to increased complexity. He mentions Schumann Cavities (areas in our Earth's magnetic Field that resonate at the same frequencies as the Human Brain: 0hz to 20 hz, but up to 60-90 hz for "gamma oscillations" - where genius is thought to lay.

He thought all the thoughts ever thought by living things, got trapped over time. The result is a "Soul Puddle." It is a bit new wave, but the reason he called it the PHenomenon of Man, was simple. What if we studied human consciousness, the same way we studied Chemistry, Physics, or Math...as a phenomenon. No anthropomorphism. So he did just that.

I think he was just way ahead of his time. Maybe. LOL

Sgt (Join to see) - Thank Kerry, browse thru Fr. Chardin's books, I think you might find some of his comments salient. Myself, I think that physical bodies will become irrelevant when we finally connect with the quantum world. First thru intermediaries like AI and SuperComputers, and then cyborg type things (where we are already putting chips in brains to cure color blind folks). Those chips worked to well, and people who have them not only see color, but hear color! And can sense emotions in paint strokes. Wow.
But in the end, we will give up the wetware. LOL
