One of my favorite plays and movie. My best friend growing up was from Ukraine, remember his mother and grandmother making some of the best pastries I'd ever tasted over the holidays. In my SAC days quite a few of the wartime targets for our wing were in Ukraine so we spent a lot of time studying cities and landscape during target study sessions. Think I posted this yesterday but it's a good synopsis of why Ukraine matters.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen One Time Breadbasket for the Soviet Union/Russia, More/Better Access to Warm Water/Black Sea. I Understand Why, doesn't make what Russia is Doing Right thou. Now "Russian" Speakers (Russian/Ukranian), My Daughter sometimes has "Issues" with them. She Once worked in a Restaurant/Bar/Pub and Russian Speaking "Ladies" used to Cause a Lot of Issues!

I was galavanting around West Germany with the 92nd Field Artillery (8" Self-propelled Howitzers) when Zero Mostel & company we're doing Fiddler. I actually never saw it. Now, I'm motivated to see it.

I've seen many versions of it, well worth seeing. One of the best versions I saw was back in the 70s on Cape Cod with Leonard Nimoy as the lead.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen I'm definitely going to see it Jack. I don't usually do musicals but I'm in for Fiddler. Thanks for recommendation.
