India is moving forward with plans to upgrade and bolster the Indian Armed Forces and Paramilitary Forces with advanced indigenously designed, and built in India under the "Make in India" program, without giving much importance to Trump's tariff war against India. Even additional tariffs or sanctions by the U.S. won't deter India at all. However, doing business with the U.S. under a bilateral trade agreement would interest India today. India drives to be self-reliant.

No political intention, COL Randall Cudworth. India intends to push forward on the accelerator with it's Make in India programs ignoring all political and geopolitical noises. India recently tested it's Agni-Prime ICBM successfully. India plans to build nuclear powered aircraft carriers and Boomers. Tariffs or sanctions, India will continue to build and bolster.
