She is the author of her own life. A little less time bitching about her circumstances and a lot more time spent on changing her circumstances would probably bear some fruit.

I was fortunate, had very few jobs I hated and I didn't stick around log. Having worked 48 years I think I only hated my job about 3 years of that total, really enjoyed the rest.

SGT Mary G.
My first duty assignment, I knew more than the temporary WO who replaced our Motor SSG, and I was brand new, trying to feel confident about the work. But of course couldn't argue about what I was tasked to do, then retasked to do it the right way which I was already doing it in the first place! Supposedly it was orders from S-4. I was very fortunate that one of the female mechanics had a similar problem with the same person and spoke up about it.
I was also very fortunate that a friend of a friend who was rotating out recommended me to be tasked for the position he was leaving. That was my best experience. Excellent WO I answered to who was everyone's favorite in the company because he treated his people well and had confidence in us. Much to his chagrin, he was tasked to be Company Commander as I was rotating out. That was not his field and he was not so happy with talk of WO being commissioned.
However I actually enjoyed the work and the people I worked with at all of my duty stations - and we managed to survive some of the less than stellar leadership we all had to deal with at times.
