Thank you my friend SGT (Join to see) for sharing the music video of Richard Wayne Penniman AKA Little Richard performing Tutti Frutti in honor of the fact that on September 14, 1955, Little Richard entered a New Orleans recording studio to begin two days of recording. Characteristily future showman Richard started playing the piano in the bar like crazy, singing a loud and lewd version of ‘Tutti Frutti.’ With only fifteen minutes left in the session, Richard Wayne Penniman recorded the song and coined the phrase, ‘a-wop-bop-a-loo-bop-a-lop-bam-boom.’"

Plot of 1956 film Don't Knock The Rock
"Weary of the road, rock star Arnie Haines (Alan Dale) returns to his small town to relax. But when he learns that his hometown has banned rock 'n' roll, Haines doesn't take it lying down. He has a whole new task ahead of him: to prove to the adults that the kids are all right and rock music is okay. With the support of popular disc jockey Alan Freed and some musical assistance from the likes of Bill Haley and the Comets and singer Little Richard, Haines is off to a terrific start."

Such a fun song and it was great to see the films of people dancing to it.

Agreed, I had an older brother and sister so I was always involved with the music they played and dances that were new, they were fun times back then.

Little Richard AKA "The Georgia Peach" was a rock&roll original in the 1950's who
shook up the music world. He along with Jerry Lee Lewis were wild piano players
who put on a exciting show for their fans. Thanks for the 50's music video.
