We were trained on the Davy Crocket when I attended Infantry OCS and I well remember my misgivings. They gave us everything we needed to know to employ the weapon but withheld information about the bursting radius (for good reason) saying only that it was classified. We fired one with a dummy round (conventional explosive). It was easy to follow in flight all the way to the target which looked suspiciously close. (BTW, I don't remember any of the firing tables showing anything like 3 miles. More like 1200 to 2000 meters)

CPT Jack Durish
CW5 Jack Cardwell - Well, it was electrically fired. Maybe you had a chance if you had four or five miles of wire

Wonder how much each round would cost, maybe in those days about, $115. Lol
