Sounds like a good idea, I'm sure She will think of it. It a whole different career as an Officer and in hindsight I wish at times I'd listened to My OIC, the Operations Officer and Commander even the Base Equal opportunity Officer who were all trying to get Me to pursue to enter what then was called Operation Bootstrap. I had two years of college then and the Air Force would send Me the last two years for My Bachelors degree and then on to Officer Training School to be commissioned a second Lieutenant. I instead left the Air Force but di go get My BS degree. After and 8 year break in service did wear Air Force blue again for 14 more years. I did come back in at the same rank, SSgt I left My prior service with but lost the time in grade due to the number of years. In the 14 years I made TSgt, MSgt, SMSgt but turned down CMSgt and retired at 22 years service. One reason, I lived in mA, was stationed at Hanscom AFB,MA and a move to Wright Patterson in Ohio would have been needed and I didn't want to leave MA.
I would have had to hold CMSgt at least years to retire in that grade. I did also have a career which I retired from as a Civilian Police Officer. Also at that time their were some thing happening in all the services I didn't see as positive and decided to retire then. It was neve the people in the services, it was more the politicians in Washington's lack of support. I know that goes in cycles but I also wanted to stay in one place unless I chose to travel on my own accord. I have had 2nd thought about both turning down an opportunity for a commissioning as well as a CMSgt promotion I still have no regrets though and value the experience I have had in my lifetime.
Well I did get to be an NCO, then WO and CWO in Civil Air Patrol, the Air Force Auxiliary before becoming a Second Lieutenant there. CAP though was volunteer unpaid work which I did for over 40 years. My biggest reward there was working with and training CAP Cadets.

SMSgt Lawrence McCarter - Don't think I would've made a Good Knife and Fork School Candidate, I'm a bit of a Wild Card, Not Quite Politically Correct. There's a Reason I Retired as a CTO1. I Valued Skill Above Everything Else. You Work For Me, You Were Top of Your Game.

With Her background and growing qualifications it sounds like She may well make a great Officer. To be noticed that high up the chain of Command for all the right reasons also certainly isn't a bad thing.
