Charles Jackson French towed a raft with 15 wounded shipmates through shark-infested waters with a rope around his waist. The Navy denied him any award or medal.

Having read this and knowing that Kennedy was awarded the same Medal for his similar actions, I believe the act undertaken by French should be reviewed and his award upgraded.
