"Efforts To Bar Private Companies From Assisting in VA Claims Harm Veterans"
The part bout the VSOs is truth. Some of them are doing the best they can, and some of them should be relieved. The person that should be my default go to, is useless. He says "can't do that" more than anything else. I went to another VSO and got it done. it just takes so long. I did engage a private company recently. From other DV in my area I had heard they did an excellent job of getting things done. They don't get paid unless their efforts produce positive results. So, at this point, it has only cost me some of my time. I won't have a problem paying them when it comes due.

My VSO is a bit questionable, submits claims and such but doesn't seem to have knowledge for follow-up. With a Total Knee Replacement you have to file for additional temporary disability, but my VSO had no clue, I had to contact them an push for the claim. I also told them I wanted to file an additional claim but had to show them in the CFRs where that info was detailed.
