CW5 Jack Cardwell The USAF went to Sorrel and LaCross 100 below rated pack boots a LOOOONNNNGGG time ago. They are infinitely warmer, they don't trap moisture inside and they don't cause nearly the problems for your feet. The solution has been out there for decades.

The Army didn't use common sense for the uniform that they picked, the ACU, way back in 2004. Now we have the ocp uniform and they purposely wants you to buy the new coyote brown or Coyote Ugly is what I called them brown boots. They cost $140 a piece when the tan boots are perfectly suitable! They will do something to make someone wealthy but they won't use common sense and use off-the-shelf parts or available National Stock numbers from the USAF. Mark my word!
