Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse. It's another RED Friday and my cousin is getting ready to deploy to Syria.

If this past year has taught us anything it is that we should not miss the opportunities to come together and celebrate. Celebrating victories, accomplishments, awards are never wrong but we should not limit our celebrations to those. Sometimes just making it successfully through a task or a day is something to celebrate. Even the little things are important. Is there something you can find to celebrate this week?

I expect you are grateful for your eternal salvation through the atonement of the LORD Jesus the Christ and the justification from sin at the regeneration of your heart/soul coincident with your salvation. Hopefully your life is balanced in general and your daily food intake and drinking is proportional to your burning of calories. No doubt your enthusiasm, encouragement of those you lead and who place their trust in you, and consistent demonstration of respect for each person you interact with or encounter is an inspiration worthy of emulation. ‘And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him. … You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.’ [2 Peter 3:15, 17-18 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.

I pray for a large measure of humility for the overly prideful; selflessness for the selfish and childish adults; measure of patience for the impatient and rude; large measure of kindness for the mean-spirited; and a large measure of justice for the unjust and corrupt. As YOU know LORD, prior to saving us we were such as these and worse. ‘And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.’ [1 Corinthians 6:11]
As far as the nations including USA, Canada, Mexico, UK, India, and the rest; remember the admonition of the LORD ‘Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket, and are accounted as the dust on the scales; behold, he takes up the coastlands like fine dust. Lebanon would not suffice for fuel, nor are its beasts enough for a burnt offering. All the nations are as nothing before him, they are accounted by him as less than nothing and emptiness.’ [Isaiah 40:15-17 ESV]
I pray for an increase of trustworthiness, faithfulness, moral courage, and balance of justice and compassion for each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads this prayer or listens to it. YOU admonish us to be honest in transactions, to use consistent weights and measures, and treat each person with respect. And he said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear: with the measure you use, it will be measured to you, and still more will be added to you. 25For to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.” [Mark 4:24-25 ESV]
I lift widows, widowers, those treated unjustly especially by the governments, disabled veterans, homeless, and recently terminated from employment to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU motivate trustworthy individuals who are good listeners to come to the aid of those in dire need of assistance. ‘learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause. “Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.’ [Isaiah 1:17-18 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members slept well Thursday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Friday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Good “R.E.D Friday!” Morning “Burroughs’ Posse Leader from the soft cloudy skies of the Greater Boston Area and a very Happy Birthday to your wife, Bella!!!

Today is: “Celebration Day!”
My Personal Quote:
"There is always something to celebrate, what that something is maybe personal, or may involve a group, or perhaps even a difficult accomplishment. In any case celebrate it with the few or the many to recognize that something." Kerry F. Harkins - May 21, 2021

"Creativity is a celebration of one's grandeur, one's sense of making anything possible." - Joseph C Zinker

"Celebrations infuse life with passion and purpose. They summon the human spirit." - Terrence E. Deal

"Dream on it. Let your mind take you to places you would like to go, and then think about it and plan it and celebrate the possibilities. And don't listen to anyone who doesn't know how to dream." - Liza Minnelli

"I don't have time to beat myself up over my fallible nature. Instead I use my energy to learn from my past and let it inform my future. It's time to own all of our glory, mistakes, mess and light and be gentle to ourselves. Let's be kind to our spirits and celebrate the truth of our hearts." - Grace Gealey

"Today is a day for celebration, no matter what your religion or your culture. Learn to celebrate today: celebrate the fact that you are alive, that you are breathing, that you have friends, family, angels and spirit guides in your life." - Margaret Neylon

Lest we forget...

"Leaders need to recognize those responsible and celebrate with the team all the milestones reached, accomplishments, and victories of their organization!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Sgt (Join to see) - Great advice in the MEME(quote) and in your personal message to eveyone this morning Kerry... Thanks brother and enjoy your day and celebrate life to its fullest my friend...

“As far as I’m concerned, any day were on the right side of the grass is a day for celebration, but for you all it may be something different, an anniversary, the birth of new grandchild, a birthday celebration, and the list goes on. That leads me to this quote…

‘Life should not only be lived, it should be celebrated.” – Osho

May your celebrations be done with the ones you love and your friends; may your days be great ones with always something to celebrate no matter how big or small it may be; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy.” – COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs
