Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs Now that it's finally light, I think it will be a beautiful day here on the midAtlantic coast. Tom and I are headed to Seymour Johnson today; I will be working with a medical group on base early tomorrow morning. Looking forward to the challenge.
"Live well" is an excellent goal. Sometimes we are more successful than we are at other times. Keeping a positive attitude, finding gratitude for what we have, helps keep us on the path to a living well. Remember it is about living in a way that brings more of what is important to you into your life.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - Giving back and doing good toward others is what life is supposed to be about. I trust whomever it is you are serving today, appreciates the gift of yourself you are giving them today.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - Great quotes and thouhts all around today Charlie. Running behind today. Busier than, "a one-eyed cat watching nine rat holes.” Give Tom our best and you both enjoy the evening!

I expect you aware that being content is significantly more fulfilling than simply living well in the cultural standard of the nation in live in since godliness with contentment is great gain Charlie.
I pray that you and I are content in every situation and that the LORD will use us to demonstrate our faith publicly without drawing attention to ourselves, my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.
Thank you, LORD for YOUR Word. You made it clear that we can be content “in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me." [Phil 4:11b-138 ESV]
I lift each of YOUR adopted son and daughter to YOU dear God. I pray that we each are outwardly focused to assist others as we can through our time, talent and treasure. Use YOUR prayer warriors to pray for the individuals, families and neighborhoods. I pray for an increase in neighborly relationships and increasingly calm neighborhoods throughout this nation.
I lift the parents of children that society looks down on including those with congenital birth defects, Downes syndrome, mental and physical retardation and children who are born addicted to YOU. I pray that YOU bless each of these children with a large dose of joy, thankfulness, goodness and love. Let YOUR light shine through each to bless the parents and siblings and ever strangers. I pray that YOU bless each parent with endurance in doing good, giving and receiving love and abiding contentment.
I lift the grieving, the distraught, the suicidal, the mentally ill and the serially abused to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU pour out an extra measure of endurance, grace, and joy in their suffering. Deliver the abused from their tormenters as quickly as YOU are willing for each one’s sake. Bless the suicidal with hope and good listeners.
I pray that each one of YOUR adopted children and their loved ones sleep well Tuesday night.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Good Morning, Colonel Burroughs ~ A good thing to ponder for today: "Am I living life to the fullest or are changes necessary? I admit that there are.
I chose the quote by Voltaire this morning and thank you for your efforts every day.
“God gave us the gift of life; it is up to give ourselves the gift of living well.” — Voltaire
Have a blessed day, brother!

Brother Wayne, for me I truly started to live well when I turned my life over to God. I may have been better off financially when I was working, but I wasn’t living as well in my heart and would as I am now. Be blessed my friend.
