Happy Wednesday COL Mikel J. Burroughs Several of us were discussing gardening this morning; we spent part of yesterday putting down weed and feed and then looking through a planting catalog.
I love gardening and it is something that can be done even in this time of isolation. It is something you can do that feels like the future will be a positive one. Plant seeds and see something good grow from them. We do that too in our lives; we plant seeds and water them with our attention and love and hopefully see something good grow there too.

Maj Robert Thornton - I have planted 2 Douglas Fir here in MO, where I had been told for years they couldn't grow - they are now about 15-20' tall and beautiful. A lilttle bit of home. My Grand-daughter (alost 11) has sworn to never let anyone cut them down <3 I hope to plant more - also 2 Gravenstein apples (yup - from Oregon) - that should be producing this summer/fall - hope to plant more of those too - for all of us, but especially the grands and THEIRS to enjoy - and remember who planted them <3
