Good Saturday morning, Burroughs' Posse Leader from a cold (to me) Greater Boston Area where it is 43° with 61% humidity and winds N 5 mph...but we are under crystal clear skies... A beautiful day!
I will be on a d off RP all day as I chair my DAV meeting, our 1st since an out door meeting in June... We have to get moving! LOL! I may miss my usual full quote response but I will try... Have a great Saturday, Mikel!
I am rushing to get a lot done before heading to my DAV Chapter 90 Meeting, but managed to squeeze these quotes in... Done - I am 'outta' here and on my way!
1) "The secret of my success is that I always managed to live to fly another day." - Chuck Yeager
2) "No matter how much time you've wasted in the past, you still have an entire today." - Denis
3) "Don’t waste another day of your life grieving over something that you cannot do anything about. Let God give you a new beginning. Your mistakes are not enough to stop God if you don’t let them." - Joyce Meyer
4) "Life is grace. Sleep is forgiveness. The night absolves. Darkness wipes the slate clean, not spotless to be sure, but clean enough for another day's chalking." - Frederick Buechner
5) "Shallow men believe in luck, believe in circumstances: it was somebody's name, or he happened to be there at right time, or it was so then, and another day it would have been otherwise. Strong men believe in cause and effect." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
6) "I exist, I am, I am here, I am becoming, I make my own life and no one else makes it for me. I must face my own shortcomings, mistakes, transgressions. No one can suffer my non-being as I do, but tomorrow is another day, and I must decide to leave my bed and live again. And if I fail, I don't have the comfort of blaming you or life or God." - Leo Buscaglia

“What can another day bring for you? More adventure or journey to new places; waking up each day with new goals or objectives to attain; being with family and friends; helping or supporting a veteran, service member, or their family during difficult times; or starting the day healthy, rested, refreshed. May you experience another day tomorrow, the next day, and many more to come in the future; may you always take the best possible care of yourself and your health to experience another day; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy. Enjoy your weekend. Another Day — Another Blessing.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good morning Col Burroughs. I for one, am grateful for another day. That's my morning mantra before it all starts. I truly am grateful. I've come close to not being here a couple of times so I guess I have a special appreciation for all the time I am given. If you don't appreciate what you have do what I did for a while and work in the emergency room (I did that in NYC and Houston, Texas) and I saw a number of people not get another day. Don't waste it. You don't know when it will be your last one.
