COL Mikel J. Burroughs good read/share: for the Colonel's Motivational Quotes of the Day. Where the mighty American Bald Eagles roam in the mighty MOUNTAINS OF CASTLE ROCK, COLORADO AMONG THIER EAGLES-NEST. I know the view must be MAGNIFICIENT.

Enjoy your day in the Big Apple:

Forgiveness is deep and necessary for eternal peace in my honest opinion.

It is a virtue to be able to forgive others for sure, and forgiving yourself makes it easier to demonstrate that virtue with others. Good post SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL COL Mikel J. Burroughs

Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs great motivational quotes today, I like “Forgiveness for ourselves and others is one of the main elements in growth. It allows us to free ourselves of the issues that are holding us down. - Nanette Mathews
We need to forgive, if we want to be forgiven, and that goes for ourselves as as well.

Have a blessed and wonderful day Mikel and family and RP family.

I echo the comments of Sgt John H.. Forgiving myself was the most difficult action for me to do. The rest became easier.

Good afternoon my friend and brother-in-Christ Sgt Randy Wilber.
Heavenly Father, YOU know the deepest hopes, dreams, fears, loves and hates of each person. I pray that YOU gently bring to the surface the desires, hurts and fears of each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters and make them discernable to us and those we love. Give us insight into our loved ones’ hopes and hurts along with compassion as we work together to resolve issues in grace with mercy. Give our loved ones’ insight into our hopes and hurts as well. I pray that love will grow in the lives of each that reads these words and that love will expand to each of their loved ones.
LORD, pour out the desire for and means to accomplish reconciliation across this nation. Help us to be grateful and thankful throughout this month.
I pray that Veteran’s Day will bring restoration to those veterans who have felt alienated through when or where they saved and what they are suffering. Bring trustworthy people to each veteran and family struggling and move them to reach out for help.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

COL Mikel J. Burroughs "Forgive Yourself Day" Why? Forgiveness is one of the keys to individual FREEDOM and LIBERTY.

Holding on to guilt imprisons the heart, mind and soul. It keeps us from moving forward, prevents us from setting and reaching goals. It hinders us from God given happiness.

If we cannot forgive ourselves, we cannot accept forgiveness from others. If we cannot forgive ourselves and forget, we in effect reject God's forgiveness and that is something we should never dare to do.

If we cannot forgive ourselves, we cannot forgive others, robbing them and us of freedom and liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Absolutely right Brother. Everyone will screw up at one time or another, as we are not perfect. The only perfect one was Jesus Christ.
