Across the main drag from the beach. Started across from the fort and went all the way to the other end and stopped across from the Ala Moana Hotel. Strictly a tourist trap but you could find little alcoves with cool stuff every so often. Don Ho used to play there at a little Tiki Bar back in the day('Tiny Bubbles' for you youngsters! Google it!!! lol) Last time I talked to my cousin she said it all was pretty much gone.

Good evening my friend and brother-in-Christ Maj Marty Hogan.
Heavenly Father, I pray that YOU will pour out an extra measure of joy on YOUR adopted children this season. Those who are mourning and grieving need YOU desperately. Help us to reach out to those mourning, grieving and on sickbeds. I pray that YOUR light shine to each of us and through us. Help us to be good listeners.
Joy is complete in fellowship with YOU. I pray that YOU move those of us who can encourage and those who are compassionate to bless those in need of encouragement, compassion and selfless love as the days grow shorter and the nights grow longer.
Let our joy be enhanced by ministering to others.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

PO2 David Dunlap - Know what you mean, David. Everything changes. Some for the good, some not. Magsaysay Drive and Rizal Ave in Olongapo are now paved. Clark, Cubi Pt, and Subic have pretty much gone back to jungle. The orange groves in Orange Cty, CA are pretty much all gone. 3 of the ships I was on went to Gillette and Schick. Another, last I heard, was in Bremerton waiting to go to a South American country. MCAS, El Toro is gone. So is Long Beach, NavSta. Glad I retired when I did

PO2 David Dunlap - Sometimes progress is regression...lol! Remember when computers were going to be such timesavers? Didn't have to type in triplicate, people that needed could get their own copy, etc!

This life is the only one we get. Don't wish it away. Don't compare yours with others. Be present and enjoy what you have, who you are with and what you can do. There are no guarantees that what you have now and take for granted will be here tomorrow. Enjoy them while you can. What is in your life that is underappreciated? How can you find joy in it or in that person today?

Lt Col Charlie Brown - I noticed The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints had donated a little over a million dollars to the American Red Cross. Makes me kind of proud knowing my Church is stepping up to the plate, as it usually does, in helping the Red Cross.
