Today in History: November 26

Thanks Maj Marty Hogan for sharing Today in History for November 26. What struck me most was when the Nazis force 500,000 Jews of Warsaw, Poland, to live within a walled ghetto in 1940 and the 1862 gift of the manuscript of Alice in Wonderland when Charles Lutwidge Dodgson sent a handwritten manuscript called Alice’s Adventures Under Ground to 10-year-old Alice Liddell.
While our nation was in the midst of a bloody civil war most of the rest of the world was in relative peace.
