Thanks for reminding us TSgt Joe C. that on April 15, 1912 the Titanic sank with tremendous loss as the supposedly unsinkable vessel had insufficient lifeboats to support the passengers and crew.
Gallantry and cowardice were present. thankfully gallantry overwhelmed the cowardice as many men voluntarily gave up their berths for women and and children.
