Yes SGT Thomas Lucken those of us who were stationed in West Germany were certainly standing up to defend freedom. None of us knew if the red hordes would invade from the east or not, yet we prepared our GDP positions as best we could and kept our SMLM cards handy.

Interesting to see some shots of Berlin, also. A lot of people now days find it incredible that the U.S. had a brigade-size garrison stationed 110 miles behind the Iron Curtain in the middle of communist East Germany -- closer to communist Poland than free West Germany. These photos of the Berlin Wall were taken in 1963 in the French Sector looking east.

This is great, but be careful using copyrighted material. Did you get permission to use that song? Just a piece of friendly advice.
I tried to go to your website, but it would not open...
Good luck with this project.

You get a lot good free use, royalty free music from various places. Here is one example that I use a lot...
https://incompetech.com/music/
https://incompetech.com/music/
Incompetech: Royalty-Free Musicincompetech | Custom Production Music and also Graph Paper
This is the normal default search, and can access every piece in the catalog. You can narrow your search on genre, feel, tempo, or length... or use the custom Google Search for anything else! For example, you can type in "Banjo" to find anything with a banjo in it.

Yes, youtube is very picky about what songs used. You can verify a song/band is good to use before hand, which I normally do.

SGT Thomas Lucken - It isn't just YouTube. The production companies and bands who own the rights to the music can send cease and desist orders. They can sue for wrongful use. They can demand payment on lost royalties. It is advisable to not use copyrighted material without the proper permissions.
Whenever you here music in a movie, show, commercial, even on the radio it is because they have the rights to use that music. The only time fair-use comes to play is in a review of it, or in news broadcast and such.
But when someone uses it in promotional material, as a soundtrack or other means to gain personal profit without gaining proper permissions they can be sued. 99% of the time the legal holder of the rights will win.

Youtube, they have the right to advertise on your video if used...... Youtube is pretty explicit on what you can do with other's songs.....
