Phils song inspired me to put this video together
Thank you, my friend and brother-in-Christ SSG William Jones for posting the Billy Graham devotional for June 8, 2019 "Courage to Stand."
Yes indeed it is no shame to suffer as a Christian who respectfully shares faith and stands up for the Gospel in any culture. I have shared my faith with Sunni and Shia Muslims, Jehovah's Witnesses, Hindus, Mormons and atheists especially in my own family.
Earlier martyrs and current martyrs have been sacrificed on the altar of faith over the millennia.
The LORD God gave each of HIS adopted children the Armor of God described in Ephesians 6: 10-18.
All of the armor is defensive with eh exception of the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God which HE stores in our heart to draw upon when needed
Ephesians 6: 10-18 NASB
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, HAVING GIRDED YOUR LOINS WITH TRUTH, and HAVING PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, and having shod YOUR FEET WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints,”

So many Christians fail to comprehend they are in a spiritual battle and in great need of the full armor of God, then spend much time wondering why things do not go well for them and or their growth in the Lord is a struggle.
We are to be soldiers in the Army of the Lord and it is a simple discipline to put on the armor and rely upon it daily for the protection the Lord knows we need.
What soldier would dare go into battle without the proper equipment with which to do battle?
Thank you for posting this pro-life video. There is no life more precious to the Lord than that of the unborn and abortion is the one battle every Christian should fight - vigorously!
