1. God is complete in HIMSELF and needs nothing from us. HIS glory is transcendent and the deeper we know HIM the more we ascribe glory to HIM through praise and worship.
2. God revealed to us that the way we show our love to God is through loving our neighbor who we may like or dislike - that is irrelevant :-)
3. Tangible love is a wonderful way to love our neighbors - through gifting and more often by being a good listener.

Matthew 22:36-40 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the great and [a]foremost commandment.
