A one-star Army general overseeing the capabilities and resource integration directorate at U.S. Cyber Command was removed in September, Army Times and C4ISRNET have learned.
Brig. Gen. Christopher Reid was serving as head of the J8 staff element at the Maryland-based unified combatant command, where he oversaw planning for resource allocation, force structure and capability development.

However, they don't specify exactly the reason for their decision! I wonder what organization will he land at? What would make him more successful elsewhere! I suspect that he will soon retire!

Wow! I crossed paths with (then COL) Reid in the past - always seemed a good guy. He must have screwed up royally to be relieved by GEN Nakasone (worked for then MG Nakasone at the CNMF and he was always fair with people).
Hmm.. wonder why the news broke so late. Just did a bit of digging and he was reassigned back in September.
