Sometimes it is all we can do to put one foot in front of the other. Don't stop as once you do, it is even harder to restart than it was to begin in the first place. The reward comes to those who are persistent, who keep going. Those who stop, fall by the wayside and never complete anything. Think about your goals and pick one to focus on. What will it take to get you to the top?

Good Wednesday evening, my friend and sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.
Heavenly Father, YOU have no need for sleep or slumber. Yet YOU created a need for sleep and rest in each of us created in YOUR image.
I pray that YOU will be the throttle governor in each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters. Release energy and inclination in our lives when we need to accomplish something IAW YOUR plan for our life – fulfilling desires and needs for our self and those we love. Correspondingly, conserve energy within us and allow us to rest comfortably in YOUR arms when we are grieving or exhausted after engaging in spiritual warfare. I pray that YOU will enable each of us to rest and sleep peacefully and enable us to recharge.
When we are very young, we have seemingly boundless energy and over-exhaust ourselves and become irritable. When we are very old, we have no energy and once-easy tasks require all the stamina we have to accomplish. In the intervening years we have energy to bless our self and others.
I pray LORD that YOU will guide those with time and energy to assist those with little energy as best they can. Give them wisdom and patience as they minister.
