Good morning, Rallypoint. Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) is titled "Trifecta at Twilight." Taken earlier this week (Feb. 18th) in northern New Mexico, photographer Paul Schmit captured the waning Moon, the International Space Station (ISS), and the planet Mars in this composite image. It took less than 1 second for the ISS to transit the lunar disk. Mars is seen in the upper right. A trifecta at twilight indeed.

The ISS is difficult to find at magnification because it moves so darn fast.
This was a tough shot to get.
