Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - I go to Stowe all the time, but it is for the Annual Antique Car show! But I agree, I also hide the remote on this move and other sappy movies when my wife is around!

Didn't know Stowe had an antique car show, and I'm from New England. Darn, could have planned the pilgrimage around something useful.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - It is actually the largest Antique Car show in New England. 900 Cars on the show field and 15 acres of flea booths (and they must all be car oriented to get a slot) and it was right on RT 100 3 miles from the town. They had a huge parade that was 30 miles long, and every show car had to be in the parade to be judged! It was right next to Nichols Camp ground on Rt 100! Last year was the 60th year show. It is sponsored by the Vermont Auto Enthusiasts (VAE). They are moving this years show to a new field in Waterbury. Give it a Google. I am taking one of my 57 Chevy's this year, The show is always the second weekend in Aug, FRI-SAT&Sun.

Wow, totally did not know about it. Well technically did know about a car show in Vermont, but not that it was in Stowe. Sorry I missed it from what you describe.

Don't remember any of the songs, just remember the movie.
